Hello Benny
Bloggers!
What a summer
– the Olympics
the Paralympics
and visits to France and Edinburgh, I am
exhausted! Just when I sat down for a rest, it was time to go back to school!
I expect,
like me, lots of my friends have gone back to school and now have a new class
AND a new teacher; some of you may even have a new school. I would love to hear
all about your new schools, teachers and friends – please write in and tell me
all about them.
School is
great fun, but new routines can sometimes be difficult for bears with
hydrocephalus. I have a great tip to help with my routines, making sure I have
everything ready for school the next day. Mummy Bear helps me put my clothes
out ready in my bedroom the night before. She lays them out in the order that I
have to put them on. First pants, then socks, shorts, t-shirt and brrrrr – I
need a jumper on these cold mornings.
It really
helps me to get ready – try it yourselves and let me know how you get on.
I then put my
bag and shoes by the front door, ready to pick up on the way out – oh, and not
forgetting my important bottle of water to keep me hydrated throughout the day.
Keep a look out
for my September newsletter where there will be a few more tips that may help
you at school.
Happy learning!
Be brilliant!!
Benny
